BFS-SMS School Management System

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for a trial or paid subscription, the school agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

This agreement is between:

Bluefox IT Solutions (BFS-SMS)
and
The Subscribing School

2. Services Provided

BFS-SMS provides:

Cloud-based School Management System

Custom school portal

Academic and administrative modules

Optional school website integration

Technical support (as defined below)

We reserve the right to modify features to improve service quality.

3. Free Trial

Schools may receive a 90-day free trial.

BFS-SMS reserves the right to end the trial if misuse occurs.

After trial expiration, continued access requires subscription payment.

4. Subscription & Pricing

Pricing: ₦1000 per student per term (unless otherwise agreed in writing) as the standard.

Billing is based on declared student count.

Schools must provide accurate enrollment figures.

Underreporting student numbers may result in suspension.

Failure to pay subscription fees may result in:

Account suspension

Restricted access

Data lock until payment is made

5. School Responsibilities

The school agrees to:

Provide accurate information

Maintain confidentiality of login credentials

Obtain parental consent for student data

Use the system legally and ethically

Not reverse-engineer or attempt to copy the software

6. Acceptable Use

Schools may NOT:

Use BFS-SMS for fraudulent purposes

Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the system

Upload illegal content

Resell or sublicense the platform

Violation may result in immediate termination.

7. Data & Intellectual Property

All school data belongs to the school.

The BFS-SMS platform, design, structure, and source code remain the intellectual property of Bluefox IT Solutions and/or its licensed provider.

Schools are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the system.

8. System Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Downtime may occur due to:

Maintenance

Server issues

Force majeure events

Internet disruptions

9. Support

Current support includes:

WhatsApp-based support

Available Monday–Saturday (within working hours)

Response times may vary

Support structure may evolve as we scale.

10. Limitation of Liability

BFS-SMS shall not be liable for:

Data loss caused by school negligence

Indirect or consequential damages

Financial loss due to system downtime

Errors resulting from incorrect data entry

Maximum liability shall not exceed the subscription fee paid for the current term.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement.

Upon termination:

Access will be revoked

Data may be deleted after a specified retention period

Outstanding payments remain payable

12. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes shall first be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to Nigerian courts.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms. Continued use of the system constitutes acceptance of changes.
